The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is the next phase in effective alcohol and drug addiction rehab. This level of care is offered during convenient hours, and encourages clients to continue functioning within their communities, while participating in an intensive form of alcohol and drug treatment.

This combination of continuing a productive and independent lifestyle meshed with frequent and intensive treatment interventions allows clients to grow within their community and continue to progress in their addiction recovery. Clients can put their life-skills in motion, but still have the support of therapeutic intervention. 

The Recovery Place IOP provides services in a manner that allows the client to continue to work or pursue their academic classes and includes, continued progress in drug and alcohol treatment goals, 12-Step meetings, group therapy, and relapse prevention therapy. 

Our Intensive Outpatient Program encourages clients to interact in the real-world environment on a daily basis, while still benefiting from the support of clinical interventions. Assessments of the client’s progress are done regularly, and the duration and type of support is managed from these assessments. No two clients are alike; therefore no two IOP programs will be the same.

My clinician worked with me and helped me through issues I had long before I started using. He helped me develop a plan to stay sober while I’m away from the treatment center and throughout the IOP program. I’m 20 years old and come from a great family but addiction does not discriminate by any means! I’m looking forward to having a job, going to school and working my recovery program to become a functioning member of this community.
