Addiction is a disease, and like other diseases, it must be constantly monitored to maintain active recovery. We want to provide a way for our clients to continuously work towards a healthy and productive life and have structured a partial hospitalization program (PHP) to guide in that process.

Along with extensive group and one-on-one therapy throughout the day, we were immersed in the 12 step program, including attending area meetings in the evenings, and learned how to have fun in recovery by participating in outside activities on the weekends.

Moving into this phase of addiction treatment, clients will undergo individual and group therapy sessions during the day and have the opportunity to attend recovery groups within the community during the evening. This process supplements the client’s ability to transition back into society without the use of drugs or alcohol.

The day/night with addiction treatment residency program serves as a step down from residential treatment. PHP is where individuals struggling with addiction are guided to long lasting recovery with a structured and on-going therapeutic concentration allowing our clients to transition back to society on their own time.

The goals of PHP are to provide intensive addiction treatment during the day, teach life-skills and implement practicing those skills during the evening, and to maintain a supportive and substance free living environment. Clients learn more responsibility and develop the communication skills needed to succeed in society without the use of alcohol or drugs. 

Our treatment team employs a multidimensional approach, combining specific therapeutic interventions with additional support activities that reinforce coping skills and teach relapse prevention techniques.

Addiction treatment interventions for clients may include:

• Individual and group counseling
• Psycho-educational groups
• Addictions education
• Family counseling

The day/night addiction program treatment plan is created by our clinical team in cooperation with the client, so that the treatment is specific to each individual’s unique needs.
